About This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the Cricket Manager Heritage mobile application (the "App") and its companion website at cricket0037.com. The App is published on Google Play by Cricket Manager Heritage ("we," "our," or "us"). Read on for a stately, plain-language tour through what we look at, why we look at it, and what you can do about it.
Data We Handle
The App is offline-first and modest in its appetite for information. What we do collect falls into a small handful of buckets, gathered at slightly different moments — some the instant the App starts, some only when you choose to reach out.
Automatically Collected Information
The first time you open Cricket Manager Heritage, and quietly thereafter, the App handles a few baseline pieces of information so it can run correctly and so we can understand how people are finding it:
- Anonymous Installation Identifier. A randomly generated identifier the App creates on first launch and stores on your device. It is not tied to your name, email, or phone number. It resets if you clear the App's data or uninstall and reinstall.
- Device Language and Region. The App reads your device's language and region settings so it can display content correctly and so push notifications, when enabled, can be delivered in the right language.
- Advertising Identifier (Google Advertising ID). A resettable advertising identifier provided by Google Play Services. We use it solely to attribute installs and to measure whether our marketing reaches the right audience — not to build advertising profiles about you. You can reset it or opt out of personalised advertising in Settings → Google → Ads.
- Install Attribution Information. Information about how you arrived at the App, such as the Play Store install referrer, the marketing campaign that led to the install, and the attribution source (organic, referral, or a specific ad network). This is collected by our attribution partner AppsFlyer alongside the advertising identifier and the anonymous installation identifier above.
- Standard Device Information. AppsFlyer and OneSignal (described below under "Working With Partners") collect baseline device telemetry as part of their normal operation — for example, device model, operating system version, app version, carrier, and the approximate country derived from your IP address. Their privacy policies (linked further down) cover this in full.
- Push Notification Subscription. If you allow push notifications, OneSignal generates a unique subscription identifier for your device and stores a language tag so it can deliver localised notifications. We use this only to send updates and important information about the App. Push notification permission is requested at runtime on Android 13 and later, and you can deny or revoke it at any time in your system settings.
Built-in Browser
The App includes a built-in browser used to display this Privacy Policy and the Support page directly within the App. The browser does not collect any additional data beyond what's listed in "Automatically Collected Information" above. Websites loaded inside it may, however, set cookies (including third-party cookies) and use local storage according to standard browser rules — clearing the App's data removes them.
On-Device Information You Generate
Most of the data that makes the App useful never leaves your phone:
- Your franchise name, squad collection, season progress, daily streak, league table, XI selection, and Settings preferences.
- Match history, scorecards, Almanac search state, and tutorial-popup-seen flags.
- Cached browser data from the built-in browser (cookies, local storage) as described above.
None of this on-device data is transmitted to us. You can erase it at any time from Settings → Data → Delete All Data inside the App, or by clearing the App's data from your device's Settings.
Information You Submit Through the Support Form
The App's Support page hosts a contact form you can use to send us a message or report a bug. When you choose to submit a request, you may provide:
- Your name and email address
- A subject line and a description of your question or issue
- An optional file attachment — you can take a fresh photo or video using your device's camera, or pick an existing screenshot, image, document, or short video through your device's file picker
This information is submitted only when you choose to send a support request. We use it solely to respond to your inquiry and to investigate the reported issue. The App itself does not open your camera directly — photo and video capture, when triggered from the attachment field, is handled entirely by your device's built-in camera app.
How We Use the Information We Collect
Only for the following, nothing more:
- To run the App, keep it working, and tailor content to your device's language.
- To deliver push notifications you have allowed.
- To understand how people discovered Cricket Manager Heritage and measure whether our marketing is reaching the right audience.
- To respond to support requests and investigate reported issues.
- To meet legal obligations when we are required to.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not build advertising profiles about you.
Working With Partners
We rely on a small number of third-party services to run the App. Each receives only what it needs for the purposes above, and each handles data under its own privacy policy:
- Google Play Services. Provides the Google Advertising ID and the Play Store install referrer. Policy: policies.google.com/privacy
- AppsFlyer. Our mobile attribution and marketing-analytics partner. AppsFlyer receives the Google Advertising ID, the App's anonymous installation identifier, install attribution data (source, campaign, install referrer), and standard device telemetry. Policy: appsflyer.com/legal/services-privacy-policy
- OneSignal. Delivers our push notifications. OneSignal receives the device's push subscription identifier, the device push token, a language tag, the timezone, and standard device telemetry (model, OS version, carrier, app version, IP-derived country). Policy: onesignal.com/privacy_policy
The App also opens a small number of outbound links — for instance, this Privacy Policy and the Support page are loaded inside the built-in browser, while certain external links open in your default browser. Those destinations operate under their own privacy practices.
Your Control
You can adjust how your information is handled at any time, without writing to us first:
- Reset or limit the advertising identifier. Open Settings → Google → Ads and choose "Reset advertising ID" or "Opt out of ads personalisation."
- Revoke push notification permission. Open your device's system Settings, find Cricket Manager Heritage, and disable notifications.
- Clear the anonymous installation identifier and on-device data. Open Settings → Apps → Cricket Manager Heritage → Storage → Clear data, or use Settings → Data → Delete All Data inside the App.
- Remove the App entirely. Uninstall it and all locally stored information goes with it.
- Ask us questions or request deletion. Write to us via the contact page.
Depending on where you live (EU/UK, California, and similar jurisdictions), you may also have rights to access, correct, port, or object to how your data is handled. Drop us a line and we'll walk you through it.
Data Retention and Security
We hold information only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law:
- The anonymous installation identifier stays on your device until you clear the App's data or uninstall.
- The Google Advertising ID is managed by Google Play Services — you can reset it whenever you like.
- Attribution information held by AppsFlyer is tied to the App installation and retained under AppsFlyer's own retention policy.
- Push notification subscription information held by OneSignal is tied to the App installation and retained under OneSignal's own retention policy.
- Cookies and local storage inside the built-in browser follow standard browser rules and stay on your device.
- Messages submitted through the Support form are kept only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry.
All network traffic between the App and our partners is encrypted in transit (HTTPS / TLS). We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Children's Privacy
Cricket Manager Heritage is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we'll delete it right away.
Simulated Bookmaker Atmosphere
Cricket Manager Heritage includes fictional, read-only bookmaker copy as ambient flavour — pre-match odds banners, mid-match tickers, and a "Bookmaker's Corner" screen. No real betting takes place inside the App. You never wager, never pick a winner, never stake anything. We do not collect any wagering, gambling, or real-money-transaction data because none exists in the App.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top and, where a change is significant, flag it inside the App. Continuing to use Cricket Manager Heritage after a change means you accept the revised policy.
Contact
For any questions about this policy or how your information is handled, get in touch through our contact page or email [email protected]. We aim to reply within a couple of business days.
