Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains — in plain English — how Cricket Manager Heritage ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Cricket Manager Heritage (the "App") and its companion website at cricket0037.com. It applies to the App on both Android and iOS. If anything is unclear, contact us using the details at the bottom.
What Choices Do You Have?
Rights come first. You can do all of these at any time, without asking us:
- Reset or limit the advertising identifier.
- On Android: open Settings → Google → Ads and choose "Reset advertising ID" or "Opt out of ads personalization."
- On iOS: open Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising to limit ad personalization, and Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking to revoke the App's tracking permission.
- Clear the anonymous identifier we generate.
- On Android: open Settings → Apps → Cricket Manager Heritage → Storage → Clear data.
- On iOS: remove the App and reinstall it — iOS wipes app data on uninstall.
- Remove the App entirely. Uninstall it and all locally stored information goes with it.
- Ask us questions or request deletion. Write to us via the contact page.
Depending on where you live (EU/UK, California, etc.), you may also have rights to access, correct, port, or object to how your data is handled. Drop us a line and we'll walk you through it.
Information We Collect
Unique Identifiers
- Google Advertising ID (GAID). On Android, a resettable advertising identifier provided by Google Play Services. Used for analytics and install attribution. You can reset it or opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings. Learn more about Google ads identifiers.
- Apple Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA). On iOS, this identifier is only made available to the App if you grant permission through the App Tracking Transparency prompt (see below).
- Custom User ID. A random anonymous identifier (UUID) the App generates the first time it starts and stores locally on your device. It is not tied to your name, email or phone number, and it resets if you clear the App's data or reinstall.
Push Notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging)
This app may use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send push notifications about updates and important information. We collect a device token solely for delivering these notifications. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
Firebase Privacy Policy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Device Information
We collect basic device information including:
- Device model and manufacturer
- Operating system version
- Language and locale settings
This helps us optimize the App for your device and troubleshoot issues.
Installation Source
We may collect information about where the App was installed from (for example, the Google Play Store install referrer on Android, or Apple's privacy-preserving attribution mechanisms such as SKAdNetwork and AdServices on iOS) for analytics purposes.
Inside the App's Built-in Browser
Cricket Manager Heritage uses a small built-in browser to show this Privacy Policy, the Support page, and related content. Websites loaded inside it may set cookies (including third-party cookies) and use local storage according to standard browser rules. Clearing the App's data removes them. The built-in browser does not collect anything beyond what's described above.
When You Contact Us
The contact form lets you share your name, email, a message, and optionally an attachment (a screenshot, image, document, or video). When you tap the attachment field, your device's standard file picker opens; you may take a fresh photo using your device's camera app, or pick an existing file. The App itself never opens the camera directly — only the file you choose is submitted. Anything you send this way is used only to respond to your message and, if relevant, to investigate the issue.
What the App Stores on Your Device
Cricket Manager Heritage is offline-first, so most of the data that makes the App useful never leaves your phone:
- Your franchise name, squad collection, season progress, daily streak, league table, XI selection, and Settings preferences.
- Match history, scorecards, Almanac search state, and tutorial-popup-seen flags.
- Cached browser data from the built-in browser (cookies, local storage) described above.
None of this on-device data is transmitted to us. You can erase it at any time from Settings → Data → Delete All Data inside the App, or by clearing the App's data (Android) / reinstalling (iOS).
How We Use What We Collect
Only for the following, nothing else:
- To run the App, keep it working, and tailor it to your device's language.
- To understand how people discovered Cricket Manager Heritage and measure whether our marketing is reaching the right audience.
- To reply to you when you contact us.
- To investigate technical issues and improve reliability.
- To meet legal obligations when we have to.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't build advertising profiles about you.
Who We Share Information With
We only share with the service providers listed below, and only what's needed for the purposes above. These services may collect data according to their own privacy policies.
- Google Play Services (Android). Provides the Google Advertising ID and handles install referrer data on Android devices. Policy: policies.google.com/privacy
- Apple (iOS). Provides the Identifier for Advertisers and handles install attribution through SKAdNetwork / AdServices on iOS devices. Policy: apple.com/legal/privacy
- Firebase / Google (FCM). Handles push-notification delivery. Policy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- OneSignal (optional). If push notifications are configured via OneSignal, the device push token is shared with OneSignal solely for delivery. Policy: onesignal.com/privacy_policy
This app may also use third-party analytics services to understand app usage and improve our services. Any such services will collect data according to their own privacy policies linked above.
App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
On iOS 14.5 and later, Apple requires apps to ask permission before tracking you across apps or websites owned by other companies. The first time you launch Cricket Manager Heritage on an iPhone or iPad, you will see a system prompt titled "Allow Cricket Manager Heritage to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites?" with two options: Ask App Not to Track or Allow.
- If you tap Allow, the App may receive your device's IDFA along with the attribution data described earlier.
- If you tap Ask App Not to Track, the App does not receive the IDFA, and attribution is measured using Apple's privacy-preserving mechanisms (SKAdNetwork) where available — no cross-app identifier is collected.
- You can change your choice at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
How Long We Keep It, and How It's Protected
We only hold onto information for as long as needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law. Specifics:
- The anonymous Custom User ID stays on your device until you clear the App's data or uninstall.
- The advertising identifier (GAID / IDFA) is managed by Google Play Services or by iOS itself — you can reset it whenever you like.
- Cookies and local storage in the built-in browser follow standard browser rules and stay on your device.
- Messages you send through the contact form are kept only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry.
All network traffic between the App and our providers is encrypted (HTTPS). We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure — so we can't promise absolute security.
Third-Party Links
The App and this website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
Is Cricket Manager Heritage Meant for Children?
No. The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region), and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we'll delete it right away.
Note on Simulated Bookmaker Atmosphere
Cricket Manager Heritage includes fictional, read-only bookmaker copy as ambient flavor — pre-match odds banners, mid-match tickers, and a "Bookmaker's Corner" screen. No real betting takes place inside the App. You never wager, never pick a winner, never stake anything. We do not collect any wagering, gambling, or real-money-transaction data because none exists in the App.
What Happens If This Policy Changes?
If we update this Privacy Policy, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top and, if the change is significant, flag it inside the App. Continuing to use Cricket Manager Heritage after a change means you accept the revised policy.
How to Reach Us
For any questions about this policy or how your information is handled, get in touch through our contact page or email [email protected]. We aim to reply within a couple of business days.
